General
- Ogres, Dark Myr, and Human Necromancers will now start in the Barrowdark, in Thronefast near the border with Avendyr's Pass.
- Halflings and Elves will now start among the trees of Wild's End in the Halfling village of Sorhiryth.
- Humans and Dwarves begin in the village of Availia in Thronefast, except that Human DireLords begin in their own starting area (where they started previously) away from Availia in Thronefast, and Human Necromancers start in the Barrowdark as mentioned previously.
- All races can now hold their breath longer than before.
- Dark Myr can hold their breath longer, and swim a bit faster, than the other races.
- Suffocating now does more damage per tick (20% of max health), so be wary of running out of breath while swimming.
- Added cast bar to the offensive target window.
- The name of crafting stations is now displayed above them in the world.
- Server location is now displayed on the realm/server selection dialog.
- Added race/class restrictions.
- Adjusted the controls for swimming to allow the camera to be rotated around the player (while holding left mouse button) without affecting what direction the player is swimming.
- The schematic name filter is now cleared when the schematics list window is opened.
- The /guildinvite command now allows you to invite people in other zones to your guild by name.
- Added some tutorial pop-ups for general crafting and for cooking and brewing. These will pop up the first time a player opens the appropriate crafting station and can also be opened again for later reference by clicking the small ? button next to the craft button on the crafting window.
DireLord
- Deafening Whisper silence increased to 6 seconds.
- Arcane Tear max stacks reduced to 3, each stack increased to 6%.
- Splatter now does a frontal AoE attack that causes bleed.
- Essence Harvester changed to an action ability (removed as a technique) (ready).
- Blood Red Blade added as a technique at weapon skill level 76 (ready).
- Choking Darkness added at level 24. Drains target's Mana, granting the DireLord Essence over time.
- Touch of Blood added.

Paladin
- Lay on Hands reckoning cost removed.

- Furious Howl cooldown reduced to 60 seconds.
- Shield Block cost reduced to 1 BP, cooldown increased to 20 seconds.
- Strike of Breaking maximum stacks reduced to 3, debuff stack increased to 6%, buff stack increased to 3%.
- Kick restores 2 BP and grants additional threat.
- Strike of Breaking BP gain removed.
- Close the Gap max range increased to 20m, generates 1 BP and roots the target for 2 seconds. Cooldown increased to 20 seconds.
- Pound line cooldowns increased to 30 seconds, cost reduced to 1 BP.
- Smash causes torment (lowers healing) for 30 seconds if the target is above 80% health.
- Pulverize grants Confidence (reduces incoming physical damage by 20% for 10 seconds).
- Shatter stuns targets below 20% for 2 seconds.
- Formation Unyielding buff and debuff durations decreased to 10 seconds. 2-minute cooldown.
- Formation Conquest buff and debuff durations decreased to 10 seconds, buff increased. 2-minute cooldown.

Necromancer
- Crippling Terror recast time set to 1 second, applies Focus Casting debuff on NPCs (causes their next ability to be instant for 10 seconds), now interrupts the cast if mez portion is broken early.
- Pet Bash now interrupts spells being cast, chance of stun removed.
- Pact of Shadow cooldown removed.
- Shroud of Undeath mana regen increased.

Ranger
- Swift Shot available at level 1.

- Added ranks of Backstab and Waylay.

- Smoke Trick duration increased to 27 seconds with Disoriented state.

Monk
- Feign Death changed to level 10.
- Added Chi Shield.
Wizard
- Static Storm reduced to 3-second ticks, 9 seconds total.
- Personal Blizzard reduced to 3-second ticks, 9 seconds total.
- Increased the damage on Ice Volley, Ember Arrow, Veyrule's Spear, Ckru-Venoth's Barrage, Lightning Bolt, and Cinder Blast.
- Reduced the mana cost on Elemental Weaving.
- Lowered the threat modifier on all spells.
- Burning Weapon should award damage to the person hitting, rather than the wizard.
- Shielding Line added.
Summoner
- Numerous pet adjustments.
- Summoned pet weapons added.
- Swarm line cast time reduced to 2 seconds, mana costs reduced, buff duration increased to 20 seconds.

Items
After evaluating player feedback from the last patch, the following changes are being made:
- Weapon damage and delay have been increased. All weapons will now hit harder and be slightly slower than before.
- As the rarity of a weapon increases, it will become both stronger and faster than other similar weapons of the same level. This is in addition to any bonus stats that the weapon possesses.
- Common weapons now have slight improvements to their damage values at higher levels.
- All level requirements are being removed from all equipped items.
- Additional uncommon and rare items are in the process of being added to adventuring encounters throughout the game world.
Determining Item Rarity
- Common items drop from most humanoid NPCs and do not have bonus stats. These may sometimes include cosmetic versions (e.g., frostbitten weapons or fadetorn armor). These items are intended primarily for salvaging or selling but may be used as equipment if nothing better is available.
- Uncommon items may drop from many normal (non-named) NPCs. These items will have bonus stats and will generally offer better base stats than Common items in the same level range.
- Rare items drop from named NPCs. These items will often have substantially higher base stats than Common or Uncommon items in the same level range and will also carry bonus stats. There are multiple degrees of rarity - the most powerful rare items are also the hardest to obtain.
Crafting - General
Equipment crafting is being adjusted for EA to align with the rarity-based approach outlined above:
- Low-level crafters will be able to make Common-quality equipment (without bonus stats) by purchasing schematics from a vendor, as today.
- Rare crafting components and schematics will be obtainable via faction vendors (with the appropriate faction) or as drops from named NPCs.
- The most powerful crafted items will require a combination of dropped schematics as well as dropped/quested or factional components and materials to create, in addition to gathered rare resources.
- Additional rare items and rare crafting materials, components, and schematics will be added to the game on an ongoing basis.
- Celestium Dust is no longer used as an optional material in component crafting. It is now a required material for creating uncommon- and rare-quality crafted components and items.

- Celestium Dust may now be gathered from gathering nodes of all sizes and levels.
- The drop rate for Celestium Dust has been slightly increased.
